A Conversation (Not a Sales Pitch)
Your free 90-minute consultation starts with getting to know you. Most couples come together to design their bands, but plenty of guys come solo too. Either way, we'll talk about style, lifestyle, what he wears, what he does with his hands, and what this ring should feel like. Ali's goal is to get you excited about what's possible, not just settle for what's available.
Sketches and Design
Ali drafts sketches based on your conversation. You give feedback, refine, and iterate until it feels right. Whether it's a sleek minimal band or something with serious detail work, the design is driven by your input.
Materials and Details
We'll select metals (gold, platinum, palladium, mixed metals), finishes (polished, brushed, hammered, sandblasted), and any details like engraving, diamonds, gemstones, or inlay. Ali walks you through every option and how it affects durability, comfort, and cost.
CAD Rendering and Production
You'll see a photorealistic 3D render before anything is made. Once approved, the ring goes into production with our trusted LA artisan partners. Most custom wedding bands are completed in 6 to 8 weeks.

Every band is different, so the cost depends on the metal, the complexity of the design, and whether stones or engraving are involved. A simple band in precious metal will be less than a detailed design with mixed metals, hand engraving, or diamond accents. We'll give you a clear, detailed estimate after your consultation so there are no surprises. Your consultation is free, and there's no obligation to move forward.
Yes, and most couples do exactly that. Your 90-minute consultation gives us plenty of time to discuss both rings, explore how they relate to each other, and start the design process for both. One meeting, two rings, one experience.
That's extremely common. Ali designs with comfort as a top priority for first-time ring wearers. We'll discuss band width, profile (flat vs. rounded), interior finish (comfort fit is standard), and weight so the ring feels natural from day one. Most guys are surprised by how quickly they get used to it.
Most custom wedding bands take 6 to 8 weeks from sketch to finished piece. If you're on a tighter timeline, let us know and we can often accommodate rush orders depending on the design. We recommend booking your consultation at least 3 months before the wedding to give plenty of breathing room.
We can. Our preference is precious metals like 14k and 18k gold, platinum, and palladium because they can be resized, repaired, and maintained for a lifetime. Alternative metals like titanium and tungsten are durable but come with tradeoffs: most can't be resized, and repairs are limited. It's also worth knowing that alternative metals aren't necessarily cheaper for a custom piece, since the majority of the cost comes from the craftsmanship and design work, not the raw material. That said, if titanium or tungsten is what you want, we can make it happen. Ali will walk you through the pros and cons so you can make the call that's right for you.
This is one of our favorite things to do. Hidden engravings, birthstones set on the interior of the band, initials worked into the design, meaningful dates, symbols, or inside jokes that only the two of you know about. These details don't add much to the cost but they make the ring irreplaceable.
